Josh grew up playing soccer around the Houston area. He really fell in love with the game in middle school and began traveling around Texas with his best friends, playing club soccer.

Josh eventually went on to play college soccer at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. After college, Josh has spent his time professionally running recreation programs and sports leagues, including both indoor and outdoor soccer. Josh has also coached youth players ranging from 3 to 15 years old.

A student of the game, Josh has played positions all over the pitch and focuses heavily on the technical aspect of the game, as well as defensive toughness and believing in the player and the team.

As a fan, Josh follows Houston Dynamo FC and Chelsea FC very closely. At home, Josh is a husband and a father to one daughter and four sons.
