Justin Shepherd is a highly experienced head coach and goalkeeper specialist with a proven track record at the collegiate, semi-professional, and elite youth levels. Justin was a 4x state Champion for club soccer, 1st team all state and all District goalkeeper, ODP travel goalkeeper, and college and semi-professional starting goalkeeper. Justin earned two collegiate All‑ASC honors during his playing career in college and has been featured multiple times in the Albuquerque Journal, Abilene Reporter‑News, and event featured in Bleacher Report and the front page of ABQ Sports Magazine for his accomplishments on the field.

With over 10 years of coaching experience across New Mexico, Florida, and Texas, Justin brings a deep understanding of player development, high-level competition, and college recruiting pathways. He currently serves as a Head Coach and has held multiple leadership roles as Director of Coaching for Goalkeeping at large, competitive soccer clubs.

Justin’s coaching background includes time at the high school level and Collegiate level as a Goalkeeper Coach, where he focused on preparing athletes for the collegiate game through advanced technical training, tactical understanding, and mental resilience.

Based in Austin, Texas, Justin is passionate about developing confident, technically sound goalkeepers and competitive teams that thrive under pressure. His coaching philosophy is simple and effective: Train hard. Win easy.

When he’s not on the field, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his daughter in soccer, snowboarding, and perfecting the art of smoking great barbecue. He’s also a proud supporter of San Diego Wave FC (NWSL), Chelsea FC, and Austin FC.
