Rennie Rebe is originally from El Paso, Texas, where she was a four-sport high school athlete. In 1996, she was inducted as an athlete into the EPHS Athletic Hall of Fame. She played center midfielder in high school before moving to center back at Texas A&M University, where she was a four-year starter, Division I scholarship recipient, and team captain.

In 1996, Rebe accepted her first high school soccer head coaching position and has enjoyed leading young people for the past 30 years. As a head girls high school soccer coach, she led Pflugerville Hendrickson to a Texas 6A State Championship in 2017. A fun fact about her coaching career is that she has coached four different high school teams to the Elite Eight round of the state soccer playoffs, representing all four Texas regions. Throughout her high school coaching career, Rebe has accumulated 431 wins and received National, Regional, State, and District recognition. In 2018, she was inducted as a coach into the City of El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame.

Rebe is a driven, competitive, collaborative, and problem-solving coach with a growth mindset and a lead-by-example work ethic. Throughout her coaching career, she has sought out challenging, fun, and dynamic opportunities. She is excited to join FC Westlake and work with the club community. In addition to her FC Westlake responsibilities, Rebe will continue to teach and coach at Cedar Creek High School in Bastrop, where she serves as the Varsity Boys Soccer Assistant.

In her free time, Rennie enjoys running, eating, discussing politics, listening to music (she is a big fan of BTS) and supporting Messi, the GOAT.
