Albert is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas.  Albert previously worked with Houston Dynamo South Texas Academy and the McAllen Border Bandits from 1999-2016, then at Austin Texans Soccer Club from 2016-2020 and finally Sting Austin Soccer Club from 2020-2023.

As a College player, Flores was a four-year letter winner at UT Pan American (now UT Rio Grande Valley). He was a GK for the Broncs from 1992-95. Flores still holds the UTRGV single-season program record for goals against average and is tied for first with 10 wins.

Flores advanced his playing career with the Excel Semi Pro team in 1996. He holds a bachelor of science from UT-Pan American in Kinesiology.  Coach Albert also hold his US Soccer ‘A’ License and National Youth Diploma from US Soccer.

Albert supports the Arsenal of the Premier league and his favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys.
