Casella brings a wealth of experience across collegiate, elite youth, and national team environments. Prior to joining FC Westlake, he served in key roles at Athletico Dallas Youth, Texas Southern University, and the University of Houston, and worked extensively with elite youth clubs in both Houston and Denver.

Casella began his coaching career in Europe before relocating to the United States, where he joined Real Colorado. There, he worked within the U.S. Development Academy staff and served as ECNL Head Coach.

In 2021, Casella moved to Houston and joined RISE SC in the Girls Academy. He later transitioned to HTX Soccer Club, serving as Girls Academy Head Coach and College Strategist, where he played a pivotal role in player development and college placement pathways.

Beginning in 2024, Casella expanded his impact to the national level, working as an Analyst for the United States Women’s Youth National Team. He currently serves as Assistant Coach for the East Texas A&M Women’s Soccer team.

Casella is currently completing his USSF A License; he holds a USSF B License, a Game Analysis Soccer Hub License, a Performance Analysis Level II License, and certifications in Sports Psychology and Individual Mental Skills.
