ECNL RL Overview

FC Westlake’s ECNL RL Girls program provides a competitive pathway for U13–U19 players looking to challenge themselves, continue developing, and compete at a high level. Teams compete across the ECNL RL Texas Conference, ECNL RL STXCL Conference, and National 1 (N1), providing players with challenging competition and opportunities to continue progressing within the FC Westlake competitive pathway.

Teams train three times per week, with structured sessions designed to challenge and improve players across their technical, tactical, physical, and psychological attributes. Through consistent training, competitive match play, and dedicated coaching, players are challenged to elevate their performance, strengthen their understanding of the game, and contribute to their team’s success.

ECNL RL Texas Conference: Provides a high level of competition for teams looking to play against strong opponents in a demanding league environment. The conference offers a step below the ECNL level while maintaining a strong focus on player development and competitive performance.

ECNL RL STXCL Conference: Provides a competitive level of play for teams looking to challenge themselves against strong opponents while continuing to develop in a high-level training and match environment. Teams also have opportunities to compete for ECNL RL postseason play.

National 1 (N1): Provides a competitive environment for teams seeking meaningful and challenging games throughout the season. N1 gives players opportunities to test their development in competitive match play while continuing to progress within the FC Westlake pathway.

The ECNL RL Girls program is designed for players seeking a higher level of competition and commitment while continuing to develop toward their individual goals. Players are challenged to compete, improve, and take ownership of their development both in training and on game day.
