Originally from McAllen, Texas, Andy was a standout prospect, recognized as one of the top 150 players in the country and ranked among the top 10 in Texas by Top Drawer Soccer. He went on to compete at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of a program that secured four ACC Coastal Division Regular Season Championships and made two NCAA College Cup Final Four appearances.

Andy began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant for the UNC Men’s Soccer program during the 2019 season, supporting team operations and recruiting initiatives. In 2021, he joined the Darlington School Soccer Academy in Georgia, serving as the U17 Boys Head Coach and U19 Boys Assistant Coach within their residential program. Andy also served as an MLS Academy scout for Real Salt Lake, where he was responsible for identifying and evaluating elite talent in alignment with professional academy standards and specific team needs.

Andy is currently in his fourth year at St. Stephen’s Soccer Academy in Austin, Texas, where he serves as an Academy Coach and a member of the residential life staff. He currently serves as the Position Specific Trainer for the FC Westlake Boys ECNL Program. Andy holds a USSF “C” Coaching License and a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise & Sport Science from UNC-Chapel Hill.
