Karmella has been coaching soccer for over 10 years, including the past few years with FC Westlake, where she has helped grow the South Austin program. As a lifelong athlete who grew up playing a variety of sports, she developed an even deeper passion for soccer after college through Austin’s adult recreational and competitive leagues.

A Texas transplant since 2005, Karmella has loved watching Austin’s soccer community grow and has enjoyed being part of that growth through both coaching and playing experiences. She’s passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where players can build confidence, develop skills, and truly enjoy the game.

Outside of soccer, she enjoys staying active, spending time with her two cats and senior pup, visiting her family in New Mexico, and hanging out with friends.
