Rony Lopez is originally from Venezuela and graduated from Zulia College as a P.E. teacher specializing in sports and recreation.

As a soccer player, Rony competed at the national youth level in Venezuela with Union Atletico Maracaibo and represented Zulia State twice in the National Games. He also played in the 3rd Division with Zulia College and participated in the National College League of Venezuela (JUVINES).

As a coach, Rony has 14 years of experience, beginning his coaching career at the age of 17. He has coached in 7 different clubs across 3 countries, working in roles that range from Second Division assistant coach to leading youth teams from U20 down to U8. Over the years, more than 20 players he has coached have gone on to become professional players in Latin America, the United States, and Europe. He has also achieved success as a coach in international tournaments, like winning 1st place with the U16 team and 2nd place with the U15 team at the Barca Academy Cup Las Americas.

Rony is passionate about developing players on and off the field and is dedicated to helping each athlete reach their full potential.
