Sophia played Division I collegiate soccer at Portland State University athletics and University of Houston athletics, where she earned multiple First Team All-Conference honors, was named to NCAA All-Region teams, and received Conference Offensive Player of the Year recognition. She was also recognized among the Top 75 student-athletes of all time at the University of Houston across all sports.

Following her collegiate career, Sophia competed professionally both internationally and in the United States. She played for FC Valur in Iceland, helping the club win a league title while competing at the Champions League level. While playing there, she was named in the Icelandic Premier League’s Best XI team.

In the U.S., she played for the Boston Breakers under World Cup winning coach Tony DiCicco, as well as the Atlanta Beat of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS). She was also part of the U.S. Women’s National Team U21 and U23 player pools.

As a coach, Sophia brings over 15 years of full-time experience, having served as a coach and director with Challenge Soccer Club, Lonestar Soccer Club, and Sting Austin Soccer Club.
