Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Trevor has a deep-rooted passion for both soccer and youth development. He began his coaching and refereeing journey over two decades ago in Louisville’s recreational leagues. After a hiatus, he reignited that passion in 2021 when he joined FC Westlake as a volunteer coach. Since then, Trevor has coached across the Recreational and Junior Academy levels in the club, and will be coaching at the Competitive level in 2025.

Trevor has worked extensively with players from U-9 to U-11, focusing on both foundational development and team growth. He is currently coaching in the U-11 Competitive program at FC Westlake.

His coaching philosophy emphasizes understanding the “why” behind each position and fostering a learning environment where kids are encouraged to make mistakes without fear. He believes this age group is pivotal – where players transform from individual ball handlers into thoughtful teammates. His goal is to help every player reach their potential while continuing to love the game.

Outside of coaching, Trevor holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business and worked in building companies that developed and constructed renewable energy power plants globally for over 20 years. He enjoys golf, building projects, and mentoring youth in engineering, leadership, and sports. A lifelong fan of Lionel Messi, he fondly recalls seeing Camp Nou in person during Messi’s early years at Barcelona.
