Having grown up in Canyon Texas, Wayne went to college and played for Eastern New Mexico and Southwestern University.

In 2014 Wayne went to Liberty Hill and was the assistant soccer coach for the men’s and women’s programs. He also taught economics and eventually became the Head Men’s Soccer Coach.

Wayne also spent time in Vermont at Lightning Soccer Club as the Boy’s Coordinator and Assistant Program Manager as well as the Head Coach for multiple teams.

After moving back to Texas, Wayne was at Liberty Hill until his son was born and after spending some time at home was brought on as the GK coach and 1^st team assistant at Schreiner University where he has been for 2 years.

In his free time, Wayne owns a bookstore and loves to spend time with friends and family outdoors. Wayne’s hobbies are skiing, carpentry, and golf. Wayne’s favorite club is Chelsea FC.
