Originally from Jacksonville Beach Florida, Alek grew up playing for Jacksonville United (winning the 2011 NPSL National Championship). Alek then went on to play Division 1 soccer and study at the University of North Florida. Throughout his time in college, he interned with the University of Florida Women’s Soccer team helping to run training sessions, organize summer camps, and analyze film. Post college, Alek went on to coach and run club operations at all levels from ECNL U18’s to U5 recreational at Strictly Soccer in St. Petersburg, FL.

Alek has lived and worked in Austin for about four years now and joined FC Westlake last season to work with the Youth Academy.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two dogs Koa and Boomer, biking, golfing, and watching Fulham and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
