COMPETITIVE PROGRAM Tryout Information

Tryouts for our Competitive program consist of an annual tryout in May, along with Player ID nights throughout the Spring season.

The Player ID nights are a chance for the Competitive player pool to be at the same training session for their birth year, in addition to any new players interested in joining to be evaluated against the current FC Westlake pool of players.  These events are for players who are interested in joining our Competitive I, II, or III program.

FAQ's

There is no cost for tryout registration or participation.  Once a player has been offered a spot on a team for the following season, we will then require a commitment fee to accept your child's spot on the team.

Once we have evaluated your player, we will assign them a level of play (Competitive I, II, or III) and offer you a roster spot if one is available.

If you accept the roster spot, then we will require a commitment fee to secure your roster spot.  Once you have paid the commitment fee, we will then look forward to having you come back in August for pre-season!

If you play for a club other than FC Westlake, then we recommend that you attend Competitive ID night throughout the Spring season, in order to showcase your talents in front of FC Westlake members of staff.

If you cannot attend an Competitive ID night, then please reach out to an FC Westlake director for more information.
