COMPETITIVE Tryout Information
Our Competitive teams participate in the local travel leagues across South Texas. We have three programs within the Competitive program, each program is tiered, and the travel requirements increase.
Competitive I - This program is for teams that compete in WDDOA Prime or Challenger. These are the highest levels of play in our competitive program. Travel includes San Antonio and the surrounding areas.
Commpetitive II - This program is for WDDOA Alpha, this is the entry level of play including travel to San Antonio and the surrounding areas.
Competitive III - This program is for teams that compete in the development leagues Superleague of Austin and CAYSA. All games will take place in the Austin metro area.

If you have missed tryouts for the 2024/2025 seasonal year, then please contact one of the program directors listed below as we may have roster availability.
FAQ's
There is no cost for tryout registration or participation. Once a player has been offered a roster spot, a commitment fee will be required in order to officially join the team for the following year.
Once we have evaluated your player, we will look at the level of play that is right for them, and offer you a roster spot if one is available.
If you accept the roster spot, then we will require a commitment fee to secure your roster spot. Once you have paid the commitment fee, we will then look forward to having you come back in August for pre-season!
If you play for a club other than FC Westlake, then we recommend that you attend our ECNL RL ID nights throughout the Spring season before tryouts.
If you cannot attend an Elite Tryout night, then please reach out to the respective FC Westlake director for more information per your player's age and gender.
