Originally from Berlin, Germany, Holger came to the US in 2006 and to Austin in 2013. Holger’s transition from parent to coach started in 2017 at the Austin Y and continued with the FC Westlake Futsal League in 2021 and 2022. During the 2023 spring season, Holger joined the FC Westlake South’s coaching team and is excited to further grow in this role.

Holger’s favorite soccer teams are Hertha Berlin and Bayern München from Germany, his favorite car is the Ford Mustang (that’s right, not a German car!).
