Bio

Marley is an Austin, TX native. She studied Psychology and Kinesiology and played soccer at a small Division 2 University in Arkansas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2017.

Following her degree, she worked numerous jobs in Austin and continued playing soccer for a local semi-professional women’s team. These jobs included being a full-time nanny for families in Austin, a sales associate at a Stretch Studio, a coach for a soccer-inspired fitness club, and a group fitness instructor at TruFusion South Austin.

From 2021-2023, she chose to go back to school to earn her Master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences with a concentration in Mental Performance. While in Ithaca, NY, she coached for Soccer Shots, a youth soccer program focusing on character development. She also earned an assistant coaching position for Ithaca College Women’s Volleyball where she helped lead the team to win their first Conference Championship and she was named Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year 2022.

To complement her studies and work, she is earning hours to receive her Certification for Mental Performance Consulting (CMPC). She has worked with several athletes within the last 10 months with both men’s and women’s NCAA teams on campus at Ithaca College. Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, leadership development, mindfulness and awareness, arousal control, imagery and visualization, emotional regulation, resiliency training, self-talk, focus of attention, goal setting/habit forming, etc.

In her spare time, she is either at TruFusion South Austin teaching various fitness classes or running the trails of Austin.
You can catch her running on Town Lake with her dogs Ellie and Maggie or tossing a frisbee and playing pick-up with her friends at Zilker Park. She will also be joining forces with a new women’s semi-professional soccer team in Austin, Austin Rise. You will find her playing at all home games at House Park. During football season, you will likely see her in purple, cheering on the Baltimore Ravens!
